About the role

  • Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a core architect of our operating model, financial strategy, and long-term value creation.
  • Translate business strategy into financial plans, tradeoffs, and execution priorities.
  • Accounting, Controls, & Financial Rigor (Foundation in-place) Oversee a strong, established accounting team responsible for close, controls, and compliance.

  • The Mission Build a finance organization and operating cadence that enables faster, smarter decisions, supports scale, and maximizes enterprise value.
  • You will own the full financial function-strategy and execution-while serving as a trusted partner to the CEO, executive team, and board.
  • What You'll Be Accountable For Executive Partnership & Strategic Finance Serve as a thought partner to the CEO on growth strategy, capital allocation, pricing, and long-term planning.
  • Support board-level reporting, investor communications, and diligence.
  • Own accounting policy decisions, revenue recognition, and internal controls as scale increases.
  • Maintain financial integrity without introducing unnecessary friction or bureaucracy.
  • Cash, Liquidity, & Risk Management Own cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital strategy.
  • Actively manage financial risk across growth initiatives, marketplace dynamics, and M&A.
  • FP&A, Metrics, & Operating Insight Build best-in-class FP&A, forecasting, and scenario planning capabilities.

Nice to have

  • Served as CFO or VP, Finance or Controller with a minimum of 3 years in the role Experience with Series A → C or $30M → $100M+ ARR scale Deep experience in B2B SaaS
