About the role
- This is a part-time position, scheduled to work 20 hours per week.
- Candidates must reside in the state of California.
- The Clinical Coordinator, School of Education is the liaison for the University and school districts for placing credential candidates in clinical settings.
Responsibilities
- In coordination with the University Clinical Supervisor and the district supervisor, counsel and develop action plans for candidates who are experiencing difficulty in fieldwork.
- Notify the Assistant Director of Clinical Practice as to the additional support being provided, and the response to it.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in appropriate field or equivalent
- K-12 administration experience 3+ years, preferably as a department head, principal, program director, or superintendent
- Machines, Tools, Equipment, Electronic Devices and Software: Ability to use a personal computer, Microsoft Office software, printers, and typical office equipment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution
- 5+ plus years teaching experience at the K-12 level
- Experience working with credential candidates in a university setting
- Current California teaching credential required
- Current administrative services credential desired.
Skills
- Knowledge of CTC Common Standards and Program Standards, as they apply to clinical fieldwork, is required.
- Working knowledge of the Cal TPAs and Cal APAs is also required.
- Ability to develop and maintain databases
- Ability to effectively work within a collaborative environment
- Ability to use a personal computer, Microsoft Office software, printers, and typical office equipment.
