About the role

As the Personal Care Attendant for our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in San Gabriel Valley, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Adult Day Center.
This position is ideal for caring individuals with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification, as you will have direct interaction with our participants, assisting them with activities of daily living and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Provides Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADL) to support participants such as: toileting, showers, bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding/assisted dining, meal service, laundry, transfers and ambulation, range of motion
Maintain a courteous, helpful, and professional attitude on the job
Maintain the confidentiality of all participant information according to HIPAA requirements
Obtains and maintains food handlers certification
Performs kitchen duties to include: washing dishes, sanitizing work area, maintaining supply inventory and checking for food expiration dates
Personal and professional development, including CME support and career growth opportunities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines.
Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques, ADL assistance, and infection control practices.
Los Angeles required.
Ability to commute to Alhambra required.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
Experience working in a healthcare or senior care setting is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Los Angeles required. Ability to commute to Alhambra required.
