About the role

- This is a full-time position located in our Lenexa, KS office.
- DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES In this position, you will: Oversee day-to-day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
- Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and support staff to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, technical reports, and deliverables.
- Plan and manage field investigations, including pre-design data collection and/or pilot testing data collection programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Environmental engineering experience that spans the entire project life cycle.
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks pertinent to the work, including KDHE.
Skills
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
- 2+ years of related project management, financial management, or task management experience.
- Experience with Superfund sites and KDHE regulations.
- Demonstrated competency and understanding of soil, groundwater and air treatment technologies.
- Design and construction experience with environmental remediation projects.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates desirable.
