About the role

  • You'll have ownership of complex material planning activities from proposal through program execution while driving supply chain performance, mitigating risk, and improving operational efficiency.
  • If you enjoy solving complex supply chain challenges, influencing cross-functional teams, and making a measurable impact on high-visibility programs, we'd like to hear from you.
  • Monitor material status from planning through receipt, resolving shortages and schedule impacts before they affect program performance.

Responsibilities

  • Primary Responsibilities Lead material planning activities supporting multiple complex programs throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute material acquisition strategies that align with program schedules, customer requirements, and funding profiles.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to identify material requirements and ensure on-time program execution.
  • Analyze demand, inventory, lead times, and supplier performance to proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting DoD or federal government contracts.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government procurement practices.
  • Experience with Costpoint, SLATE, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence/reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting proposal efforts, material estimating, or supply chain risk assessments.

Compensation

  • Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
