About the role

  • The Leasing Consultant is responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move outs, and lease renewals.
  • This position is responsible for interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction.
  • The Leasing Consultant is also responsible for assisting the Property Manager and Assistant Manager as directed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain lease files per policy and procedure.
  • Maintain leads and contacts.
  • Deliver thorough move-in presentation to new residents.
  • Carry and deliver boxes, flowers, newsletters, correspondence, etc. to residents' apartments.
  • Maintain a complete clean and neat appearance.

Requirements

  • Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working overtime, weekends, and non traditional holidays.
  • Process rental applications, obtain required documents, schedule move-ins and prepare all lease file documents.
  • Assists the Property Manager and Assistant Manager with other tasks as required.
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred.

Compensation

  • Keep market survey of competitor rates up to date at least monthly and visit competitors three times annually.
