About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the President and the divisional leadership team, working collaboratively to provide insights on the financial impact of business decisions and support informed, data-driven strategies.
  • Champion talent growth, enhance engagement across the global function, and empower the team to deliver exceptional results aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and actively contribute to the Strategic Planning process, partnering with Product Management, Commercial, Engineering, and Operations team to align priorities.
  • Direct the monthly forecasting process across all divisional operating plans, ensuring accurate consolidation and timely corporate reporting. Lead the monthly close process and facilitate comprehensive financial operating review with executive leadership.
  • Provide leadership across the Division on design and daily monitoring of KPI's that deliver the budget / forecast, (e.g. commercial volume, standard profit, plant operational ops, SIOP, etc), driving accountability to ensure plan to deliver the plan.
  • Drive efficiency initiatives while embedding Regal Rexnord's 80/20 principles into operational practices.
  • Manage and ensure timely completion of internal and external audits. Provide clear reporting on root causes, remediation plans, and status updates, while driving resolution of findings and process improvement opportunities to closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as the lead financial partner for key divisional initiatives, including market share growth, 80/20 execution, pricing strategy, and footprint optimization.
  • The Senior Director of Finance is a strategic partner to the President and divisional leadership, driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support growth and profitability.
  • This role leads budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning while partnering on key initiatives such as pricing strategy, footprint optimization, 80/20 execution, and market share growth.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • MBA and CPA is strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems is required; Experience with Oracle ERP system, SAP, Hyperion, and OneStream preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.

Compensation

  • Lead the finance team in delivering accurate FP&A reporting and provide clear, insightful updates to executive leadership on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Own the annual budgeting process, partnering closely with divisional leadership and plant controllers to set strategic direction and establish aligned financial targets.
