About the role

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to acclimate to project management software or related software.

Nice to have

  • Roads, Bridges, Utility, and infrastructure experience is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction principles and methods.
  • Ability to conduct inspections and make professional assessments of work.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and understand engineering plans and specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with engineering and construction personnel about site activities and project progress.
  • Ability to write clear inspection reports on the condition of projects.
  • Proficient in the use of a tablet or laptop.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • We seek a dedicated and experienced Resident Inspector to join our team. This position provides quality control and assurance, measurement, materials testing, and documentation throughout all phases of the construction process.   • Here's What You'll Be Doing
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
  • Review and interpret plans, testing and sampling plans, site layouts, specifications, or construction methods to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Notify supervisors or other personnel of problems within the project.
  • Develops, maintains, and daily reports, posts logs, charts, and forms detailing quality levels, inspection data, and results of special quality studies for review by lead-level supervisors and higher management.
  • Relevant and sufficient work experience may be substituted for a high school diploma requirement.
  • Certification and License(s)
  • We seek a dedicated and experienced Resident Inspector to join our team.
  • Here's What You Need
  • Valid driver's license.
  • LADOTD, ACI, and other certifications are a plus.
  • Over five years up to and including seven years.
