About the role
- Responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under their direction and control.
- Incumbent is called upon to handle a significant amount of details, each varying from the other in substance and content, requiring incumbent to approach workload with flexibility.
- Monitors and assists swimmers and enforces regulations.
Requirements
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES: Ø Working knowledge of multi-pool aquatic facility, procedures and equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the public, including children and young adults, in a courteous and tactful manner and to fairly and tactfully enforce facility rules and regulations.
Skills
- Ø Working knowledge of multi-pool aquatic facility, procedures and equipment.
- Ability to swim. Ø Excellent customer service skills.
- Moderate physical effort is generally required which involves frequent lifting of between 30 and 60 pounds.
- Regularly required to walk, swim, stand, crouch, reach, crawl, climb, talk, sit, watch and hear for extended periods of time.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, and feel objects or equipment.
- Vision and hearing at or correctable to normal ranges.
- Noise is moderate to loud at times.
