- Also responsible for overseeing all catastrophic Workers' Compensation claims throughout the department.
- Actively Manages assigned Resolution Specialists workloads and performance.
- Evaluates team performance, identifies and resolves problems, develops corrective action plans and defines team and individual goals.
- Provide the office with the guidance and training on functional claims problems.
- Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of the Workers Compensation Act and Rules and Regulations in jurisdictions assigned.
- Consult with attorneys, assist in negotiation of settlement, mediations and trials (attend trials as necessary).
- Keep office abreast of all legal changes in assigned jurisdictions.
- Ensure regulatory issues within the assigned region are within compliance.
- Attend and participate in training sessions to the accounts or account visits and claim reviews.
- Identify unfavorable trends from employers and notify appropriate departments.
- Ensure team's work is in accordance with guidelines established Qualifications Bachelor's degree Ten (10) years' experience within workers compensation insurance.
