- Serves as Symposia Registration Counter Coordinator in collaboration with Program Specialist & Program Manager.
Responsibilities
- Maintain supplies in direct relation to registration.
- Assist Senior Program Manager in coordinating administrative support functions, supervising, training, and evaluating student workers.
- Provide support to Program Manager in program and advisory committee coordination & correspondence.
- Other support as assigned and not limited to: creating meeting documents, auditing files for distribution, creating and sending plaques for authors, author correspondence, proceeding collection, etc.
- Perform duties similar to the above tasks in support of the Center's activities beyond the main symposia throughout the calendar year.
- The Turbomachinery Laboratory (Turbo Lab) conducts fundamental and applied research within three thematic areas: Rotordynamics and Mechanical Systems; Thermal Fluids and Combustion; and Computational and Modeling Design.
- Documents need to be presented no later than the third day of employment.
Requirements
- Directly support the Program Manager with budget and spending records for laboratory support, research and symposium accounts, and monthly/year-end accounts/expenditure balancing as required.
- If hired, you will be required to complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form.
- You will be required to present acceptable and original documents to prove your identity and authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to organize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel to symposia yearly or when needed with the potential of travel increasing in frequency.
- Responsible for online registrations, database entry, and all delegate registration correspondence.
