About the role
- The Fleet Health Monitoring team monitors multiple airplane fleets and provides targeted maintenance recommendations for critical faults, enabling real-time situational awareness of in-flight Boeing airplanes.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys working real-time issues with airline customers in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
- Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Operations Center Fleet Monitoring Engineer (Associate or Experienced).
Responsibilities
- Willingness to learn all facets of fleet monitoring and provide backup support as needed
- Collaborating with Service and Design engineering to analyze fleet technical issues and develop in-service solutions
- Developing data analysis tools and methodologies
- Develops and implements process improvements as well as maintains group performance metrics.
- Coaches and mentors team members as well as leads efforts that drive customer self-sufficiency.
- Willingness to work a non-standard schedule, which may include working "7days-on/7days-off", holidays and weekends, and second or third shift hours to support the Boeing fleet operating in a 24/7/365 environment; a 7 day shift consist of working Fri-Thu for 7 days with the following 7 days off; for specialized skills a 4/10 schedule across all shifts would be an option.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering discipline.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- 2+ years of experience in airplane maintenance or airline customer support.
- Level 3: 4+ years of related work experience.

Compensation
- Associate (Level 2): $98,600 - $133,400
- Experienced (Level 3): $119,850 - $162,150
