About the role
- The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing a combination of assembly, weld, mold, and test operations on electromechanical medical devices.
- This effort includes, but is not limited to, activities related with coordination of line balances and inspections.
- This individual works with other manufacturing operators to ensure products are made up to company standards.

Requirements
- The demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies, and rules is essential
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Incumbents are required to work cooperatively and productively with others
- Must be able to multi-task and rotate through all jobs performed in the assigned work group as needed
- Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Experience in medical device soldering is preferred
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
- Must be able to use standard hand tools used in the assembly of medical devices
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or its equivalent with at least one year of experience in the field or in a related area preferred
- Coyol Free Zone Certified Operator is a plus
Skills
- Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches.
- Repairs and corrects devices and related components using microscopes and applicable tools
Compensation
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
