About the role

This role will work with claims adjusters, clients and Team Leaders/Director, Legal.
Counsel will provide proactive insight and legal guidance by identifying opportunities for technical excellence.
During the recruitment process, we will discuss and consider how your unique qualifications align with the broader range for this position.

Responsibilities

Drive timely and efficient outcomes.
Develop and deliver targeted training to the organization.
Foster positive working relationship with support staff.
Appropriately direct support staff regarding tasks for file management.

Requirements

Carry a case load of 50+ files of a complexity commensurate with years of experience.
Undergraduate degree, J.D. or LL.B. and called to the bar in Ontario.
Legal research skills and proficiency with digital legal research resources.

Compensation

This range reflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels.
