About the role
- GENERAL DESCRIPTION: To assist the lab technicians in the process of collecting boars, processing semen and general maintenance.
- May have to lift or assist in positioning of boars.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as scheduled.
Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, kneel and walk on concrete floors most of the day.
- Medium strength is required for the training of boars, collection of semen and lifting of buckets.
- Ability to reach for and handle supportive devices or equipment such as thermoses, feed scoops, gates, etc.
- Ability to follow set procedures and standards with satisfactory results.
- Ability to communicate with staff and clients who may be under physical and emotional stress.
- Ability to stand, kneel and walk on concrete floors most of the day.
Nice to have
- High school graduate preferred with general office experience and a farm background.
Skills

- Present professional image of the farm and PCM.
- Pass TQA and PQA+ certification test.
