  • The Team: The Sustainability Sales Specialist in New York plays a vital role in fostering strong relationships with our clients while expanding our market presence.
  • This team will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy for North America and directly managing a select portfolio of key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to drive top line/revenue growth of the business by leveraging existing products and integrating customer feedback and intelligence from the market to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Strong focus on cross-sell opportunities with other commercial leads.
  • Manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • By valuing different perspectives and promoting a culture of respect and collaboration, we drive innovation and power global markets.

Requirements

  • S&P Global enables businesses, governments, and individuals with trusted data, expertise, and technology to make decisions with conviction.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a new business sales position
  • Experience in Sustainability and/or SaaS enterprise sales with a focus on solution selling and large ticket deals.
  • Proven track record of selling successfully within Non-Financial Corporations.
  • Proven experience in managing large complex sales and ability to effectively work in a large organization.
  • Ability to make difficult decisions and set priorities based on imperfect information.
  • Strong technical experience with Sales Force and other commercial tools.

Compensation

  • Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,387-$100,000.

  • This role will support our suite of Sustainability Solutions, with a primary focus on Sustainability Analytics / Benchmarking Services, Physical Risk data feed and the Climanomics platform.
  • Working across both existing relationships and new logos, the role requires you to be a team player, self-starter, and trusted advisor to deeply understand unique company challenges and the regulatory landscape.
  • You will consult with customers about S&P's Sustainability services suite to evangelize solutions that will help them reach their business goals.
