About the role
- As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization's IT infrastructure, sensitive data, and digital assets against cyber threats.
- This position requires a proactive professional who can monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents while ensuring compliance with Canadian regulatory standards and global security frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Gain hands-on experience contributing to projects that drive growth and make a lasting impact in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements
- The ability to video record your answers will be required.
Nice to have
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master's program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and threat analysis.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks applicable to Canada.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls is a strong asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
