About the role

  • This includes both driver and manager training for basic system operations and often includes aiding and functioning in the expected role.
  • Travel is extensive for this role and is expected to be around 75-80%.

Requirements

  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required
  • Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. advanced required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components. intermediate required
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required

  • Members of Start Up team focused on flawless execution and adherence to pre-established customer critical success factors
  • Ensuring both drivers and managers understand the core operations and systems used for tracking compliance, driver pay, and customer billing
  • Acting as an arm of management to answer questions and make quick decisions during the startup phase
  • Training of new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group
  • Ability to work independently and as member of a team.

Skills

  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge and inner workings of a driver route tool is a plus
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
  • Strong organization, analytical, and computer skills.
  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
