About the role
- This includes both driver and manager training for basic system operations and often includes aiding and functioning in the expected role.
- Travel is extensive for this role and is expected to be around 75-80%.
Requirements
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required
- Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. advanced required
- Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components. intermediate required
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required
- and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

- Ensuring both drivers and managers understand the core operations and systems used for tracking compliance, driver pay, and customer billing
- Acting as an arm of management to answer questions and make quick decisions during the startup phase
- Training of new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group
- Ability to work independently and as member of a team.
Skills
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge and inner workings of a driver route tool is a plus
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
- Strong organization, analytical, and computer skills.
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
Compensation
