Location United States The US national base salary range for this position is from $66,500.00 - $123,500.00 The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role.
Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

Lead weekly team meetings to discuss volume, productivity, customer deliverables, processes, and service levels while providing performance-based recognition and rewards.
Manage financial documentation and audit event files to ensure all terms of value (TOV) requirements are met and operational profitability is maintained.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and process improvements to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Analyze client survey results and benchmark data to identify improvement opportunities and develop service recovery plans with measurable goals.
Manage special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by operations leadership.
In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to clients, oversee congress planning initiatives, and drive operational excellence while fostering a positive team environment that maximizes both service delivery and employee engagement.
You can connect with colleagues through our global INclusion Groups, centered around common identities or initiatives, to discuss challenges, obstacles, achievements, and drive company awareness and action.

Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience managing event, pharma, or meeting management teams.
Proven people leadership skills with demonstrated impact managing large teams.
Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of business financials, contracts, and service levels.
Extensive knowledge of congress planning and the pharmaceutical meeting industry.
Proficiency with Cvent and other meetings industry technology platforms.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally by airplane, boat, rail, and/or car
college degree preferred.
