Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly team meetings to discuss volume, productivity, customer deliverables, processes, and service levels while providing performance-based recognition and rewards.
  • Manage financial documentation and audit event files to ensure all terms of value (TOV) requirements are met and operational profitability is maintained.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and process improvements to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze client survey results and benchmark data to identify improvement opportunities and develop service recovery plans with measurable goals.
  • Manage special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by operations leadership.
  • In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to clients, oversee congress planning initiatives, and drive operational excellence while fostering a positive team environment that maximizes both service delivery and employee engagement.
  • You can connect with colleagues through our global INclusion Groups, centered around common identities or initiatives, to discuss challenges, obstacles, achievements, and drive company awareness and action.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience managing event, pharma, or meeting management teams.
  • Proven people leadership skills with demonstrated impact managing large teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of business financials, contracts, and service levels.
  • Extensive knowledge of congress planning and the pharmaceutical meeting industry.
  • Proficiency with Cvent and other meetings industry technology platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally by airplane, boat, rail, and/or car
  • college degree preferred.

Compensation
