About the role
- We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Endoscopy team.
- The CMA is an integral part of the health care team and plays a vital role in supporting gastrointestinal procedures by assisting with patient assessments, education, care coordination, and endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities
- May collect and/or document vital signs and clinical information under supervision of RN
Requirements
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality where required

- Education Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent is required

- Active CMA for the state of Iowa is required
- Previous experience in the general medical/surgical areas is required
- Two (2) year minimum experience within a clinical setting and/or gastroenterology preferred
- Must have certification in basic life support (CPR)
