Responsibilities

  • As an Engineer II - Electrical Engineer, you will support the design, coordination, and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from concept through completion.
  • A typical day involves reviewing electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical studies to ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and project objectives.
  • You'll collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and project teams, performing equipment and material takeoffs, supporting design reviews, and helping resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You'll also travel to project sites to verify construction activities aligning with project drawings and specifications, participate in design reviews, and ensure accurate documentation of field changes.
  • Perpetuates designs that satisfy the design life of the power plant by establishing compliance with local and state codes and company best practices. Ensures takeoffs are complete and accurate for cost estimates and material procurement.
  • Responsible for managing designs that provide the most economical means to satisfy the design life of the power plant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field from an ABET accredited college required.
  • Two years of progressive engineering and/or engineering supervisory experience in a related industry (i.e. heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) are required.

Nice to have

  • Renewables-focused experience a plus.

Compensation

  • $83,109.00 - $120,508.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
