About the role

Position Description: This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily activities of the packaging and shipping team, ensuring customer orders are completed and shipped on time.
Effective communication skills and the ability to motivate team members is essential to successfully fulfilling the job duties of this position.
1.2 Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of 4 - 6 team members.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to ship customer orders using a variety of shipping methods such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.
Ability to communicate shipment information both internally and externally
Ability to complete picking and packaging processes within estimated time standards.
Ability to utilize ERP system and custom software to process customer orders.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
Ability to read and understanding engineering documentation, quality information and work instructions.
Ability to move and transport product from one operation to the next operation.
Ability to facilitate daily stand-up meetings with the team to communicate priorities, issues, and current status for work area.

Minimum 2 years experience in Shipping Department.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Computer. ability to use Microsoft Office and learn and operate ERP system and shipping software & systems.

Required Education or Experience: • Minimum 2 years experience in a lead role. • Minimum 2 years experience in Shipping Department. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
