About the role

  • In a high-velocity environment, you ensure our SERP remains the fastest in the industry.
  • You are responsible for the "human-in-the-loop" verification of AI-generated code regarding security, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Mentorship & Culture: A natural leader who raises the bar for the entire engineering organization through code reviews, RFCs, and a growth-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of our React/Next.js frontend and Node.js/GraphQL microservices.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize Core Web Vitals and SSR strategies.
  • As a Staff Engineer, you won't just write code; you will define the technical standards for how we deliver search results at scale.
  • You will balance hands-on development with high-level system design, ensuring our frontend and backend systems are resilient, performant, and SEO-dominant.
