Requirements
- 1 year of customer service or relevant experience.
- Experience in promoting and selling financial products or services.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.
- Proficient math skills, with the ability to process account transactions accurately.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, using discretion and sound judgment.
- Schedule Flexibility Required: Tellers work varying shifts during our operating hours based on business needs. Flexibility to work any scheduled shift, including up to three Saturdays per month, is a core expectation of the role.
- High School Diploma or associated Certification (GED).
- Teller or cash handling experience.
- Spanish language fluency highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Successful completion of in-house teller training program.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to ensure professional handling of member concerns.
- Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives and goals.
Compensation
- The Target Pay Range for this position is $21.65-$24.23 hourly.
- The full Pay Range is $21.65-$28.65 hourly.
- At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
- In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant.
