About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of engineers through weekly 1:1s, career conversations, and hands-on technical guidance.
- Own the roadmap and delivery for Alloy's developer-facing infrastructure - APIs, webhooks, data ingestion, and outbound data flows - ensuring reliability, scalability, and a great developer experience.
- Partner closely with product, design, partnerships, and customer-facing teams to shape what gets built and why.
- Drive technical strategy for the team's systems, including API design standards, event delivery guarantees, and integration patterns used by external developers.
- Recruit and hire strong engineers; own onboarding and ramp for new team members.
- our Events API, Outgoing Webhooks Service, partnership data feeds, external developer documentation, and the integrations that power Alloy's channel partner ecosystem.

- You will own the technical and strategic vision for how data flows in and out of Alloy at scale, and how external developers experience the platform - from first API call to production.

- We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Developer Experience team within the Connection organization.
- This team owns Alloy's external-facing integration surface - the APIs, webhooks, and tooling that developers and partners use to connect with Alloy and build on top of our platform.
