About the role

  • You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing materials, components, and finished goods within our autonomous robotics service environment.
  • You will accurately track material movements and inventory transactions in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Responsibilities

  • The Material Handler Specialist, Logistics will support the day-to-day inventory management and material handling operations at DoorDash Labs.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and support physical inventory counts, flagging any discrepancies for review.
  • Support service operations, engineering, and quality teams by keeping materials available and easy to locate.

Requirements

  • This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate standard material handling equipment, including working safely around autonomous systems.

  • Familiarity with inventory, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
  • Working knowledge of basic inventory control principles and practices.

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • technical certification a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar logistics or inventory role, ideally in a manufacturing, distribution, or electronics environment.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
  • forklift certification (or willingness to become certified) is a plus.
