Responsibilities
- Maintain strict biosecurity and animal welfare standards while working in hatchery
- Sanitize egg room equipment, storage areas, and trays to maintain biosecurity.
- Assemble boxes, stack, pack, and perform other general duties as assigned.
- Maintain proper handling, cleaning, and safety practices for birds and eggs.
- Applicants are not allowed to own any kind of birds due to the risk of possible disease transmission.
Requirements
- Ability to perform moderate physical work, including repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to perform tasks with limited supervision.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical Requirements
- Work with cleaning chemicals, including detergents and disinfectants.
- Stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
- Grip, grasp, or twist using hands and wrists.
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Bend and stoop repetitively during shift.
