About the role

  • You are intuitive and can interpret the needs within your team and external clients as you succeed in prioritizing and executing your responsibilities.
  • You will learn the underwriting process and use this knowledge to propose out of the box recommendations within your team.
  • Important Notes: - Coaction's internship program does NOT offer remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers initial pricing to your Underwriting partner.
  • Performs policy processing activities.
  • Performs applicable procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Eligible candidates MUST be rising juniors with a targeted graduation date of May 2028 (2026, 2027, or 2029 graduates will not be eligible).
  • Students must currently be in pursuit of their Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to effectively communicate with professionals at all levels.
  • Ability to learn quickly, make an immediate impact, and provide value-added services to the Company.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines.
  • Important Notes:
  • Coaction's internship program does NOT offer remote work. Our internship roles are 5 days a week in our Morristown office.
  • Candidates must live local to the Morristown, NJ area as we do not provide relocation assistance and require in office attendance. Our internship program will take place Summer 2027 from June-August.
