About the role
- Job Summary Residential Support Staff work with one to three individuals with disabilities in their residential setting assisting them with domestic skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, personal errands, community involvement, personal care, medication administration and more!
Requirements
- Attend and successfully complete all required trainings and attend departmental meetings to increase knowledge of programs and people served.
- Bending, reaching, twisting, squatting are required when assisting people served with bathing, repositioning, transferring and other activities of daily living.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A criminal background check must be completed and meet state regulations.
- A copy of driver's license and liability insurance is required (only in special circumstance will a person not be required to have these documents).

- Three positive references; at least two from previous employers.
- Good communication skills regarding written information and verbal information that may be shared with the persons team.
