About the role
- Your work will help improve application performance, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software applications that support business objectives and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Build, test, debug, and deploy backend and frontend components to improve application performance, reliability, and usability.
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases through code reviews, refactoring, and technical improvements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support application stability, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development across architectural patterns such as microservices, monolithic applications, and event-driven systems.
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development using React, Next.js, Angular, or similar frameworks to build responsive single-page or multi-page applications.
- 3+ years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle or MongoDB, including Structured Query Language (SQL), database design, indexes, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
- 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable software with authentication, authorization, and sensitive data protection controls.
- Experience with Agile delivery methods, secure code development, code scanning, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience in financial services technology environments.
- Experience using wireframing or collaboration tools such as Figma.
Compensation
- $90,000.00 - $144,000.00
- These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
- This position is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity and is also not eligible to earn commissions.
