About the role

Provide drafting and design expertise to assist Engineers of the Mechanical Engineering department for the creation of 3D models and production equipment.
Assist Sales in the creation of equipment proposals by providing engineering and design expertise.
Design systems layout and specific components on 2D and 3D CAD equipment and software Our products could include steel structures, sheet metal parts, mechanisms and other BEUMER products. Optimize for cost, functionality and manufacturability.
Perform data entry functions to fully document engineering designs in the corporate database.
Support existing Engineering processes and assist in the development of new processes.
Work with senior engineers to insure designs are prepared for manufacturing and assembly.
The Project Mechanical Engineer is a hands-on individual who will prepare specifications, 3D models and drawings for the design, manufacturing, and installation of material handling equipment used in airport baggage handling systems.

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 Annually.
The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position.
Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.
Requirements/Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing and project engineering environments.
