About the role

Approximately 70-80% of this role will focus on complex commercial contracting and strategic transactions.
The remainder will involve broader legal generalist responsibilities within a lean, high-impact legal team supporting a NYSE-listed company.

Experience with government contracting frameworks (e.g., FAR/DFARS) is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with ITAR/EAR is a plus.
6+ years of relevant legal experience, including substantial responsibility for complex commercial transactions
top-tier law firm training strongly preferred.
Experience in technology, advanced research, aerospace, defense, or regulated industries preferred.

Contribute to scalable legal processes, playbooks, and approval frameworks to increase velocity without sacrificing discipline.
Intellectual curiosity about emerging technologies and regulated markets.

A good faith estimate of the base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $240,000 annually.

Partner with Finance and leadership to align contractual structures with revenue recognition, disclosure controls, and public reporting requirements.
Deliver targeted training to commercial and technical teams on contracting standards, risk awareness, and compliance fundamentals.
Support cross-functional corporate, regulatory, and governance matters as needed.
JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
6+ years of relevant legal experience, including substantial responsibility for complex commercial transactions; top-tier law firm training strongly preferred.
Significant experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
Comfort operating in a lean environment with high ownership and limited bureaucracy.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and competing priorities with precision.
