About the role

Responsibilities
- Implement and track corrections through proof cycles.
- Perform quality control checks on layouts and production files.
- Collaborate with editors and designers to resolve production issues.
- Provide print production support for Kids and Little Kids publications, ensuring pages are accurate, complete, and production-ready.
- Partner with Editorial and Design teams to manage assets, corrections, proofing, and final release activities.
- Advanced coursework, certification, or specialized training in publishing, print production, graphic design, or related disciplines
Requirements
- 3+ years of print production, publishing, or related experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of print production, proofing, and prepress workflows.
- Experience coordinating artwork, illustrations, and complex page assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Publishing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- The hiring range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $79,400 to $106,400 per year.
