Responsibilities

  • Hypertherm Associates is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Operations Planning to own integrated planning in a make-to-order manufacturing environment.
  • In this role, you will lead a team to align demand, supply, production, and inventory to meet customer commitments, manage constraints, and support strong business performance.
  • Lead medium- and long-range planning to align market demand, operational constraints, and business priorities.
  • Own the SIOP process and partner across Sales, Product Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to align forecasts, capacity, service, revenue, and inventory goals.
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies that support customer lead times while managing cost, risk, and working capital.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the planning team while supporting strong cross-functional execution and clear leadership communication.
  • Maintain data quality in planning systems to support decision-making (ERP/ MRP, Forecasts, lead times, inventory levels).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Expertise in SIOP, master production scheduling, inventory planning, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate trade-offs clearly.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, forecasting tools, and planning data management.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and turn plans into on-time execution.

Nice to have

  • APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Lean/JIT production

  • Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

  • $103,329.00-$172,215.00 Annual This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
