Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the LOB, review draft loan documents to ensure alignment with bank policy, credit approval terms, and loan system compatibility
  • Support internal audit and compliance partners by producing samples to support targeted reviews
  • Support "lighter touch" customer requests (i.e. balance inquiries, loan statement requests, interest rate options, extensions, etc.), working with the LOB to approve and Operations to execute
  • Work on internal projects to improve the lending process, enhance/expand middle office capabilities, and support the Lines of Business & Operations
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact with lending teams, operations partners, attorneys, and borrowers
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple transactions and servicing requests, simultaneously

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of loan & lending systems (i.e., Signature, ACBS, Loan IQ, Sageworks LOS, Salesforce, etc.) and proficiency in Microsoft Applications
  • 5-7 years Prior paralegal, commercial lending loan administration, and/or closing experience on $10MM-$50MM+ commercial transactions within borrower segments (C&I, CRE, Sponsor & Specialty, ABL, etc. ) required

Skills

  • Strong understanding of commercial lending process, compliance & regulations, loan types/products/structures, etc.
  • Fundamental math/accounting/finance skills to understand debits, credits, balancing, amortization schedules, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university preferred.

Compensation

  • The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $110,000.00.
  • Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
