- Greenhouse is looking for a Data Migrations Engineer I to join our Data Migrations team!
- Data Migrations Engineers at Greenhouse gain valuable experience across a multitude of technical and non-technical skill sets, enabling them to pursue career paths into: software engineering, data analytics, technical consulting, and more.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Implementations and/or Customer Success teams to fully align on all migration-related tasks, inter-dependencies, and milestones
- Develop new, or modify existing, automation scripts to extract, analyze, and transform customer data in preparation for its import to Greenhouse
- Experience managing technical work within projects, including leading source and target system analysis, specification, design, and development activities

Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python scripting for data analysis and manipulation
- Experience with Pandas or Jupyter Notebooks
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada as of the start date chosen by the Company.
Nice to have
- Ability to work within eastern timezone, preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, especially V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, a plus
- External Customer Interaction, a plus
- Familiarity with data engineering processes (ETLs) and data visualization, a plus
- Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and transforming data on RESTful APIs, a plus
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, a plus
Skills
- A data aficionado - you geek out on analyzing and manipulating large sets of data
- A Python enthusiast - you write scripts and programs to automate processes and transform data
- A self-starter - you constantly experiment with new tools and technologies for the job
Compensation
- The national pay range for this role is $79,000 - $85,000 CAD.

- Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases.
