About the role

  • Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Blender Marine Scheduler through 07/03/2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time Zone.
  • The Blender Marine Scheduler is responsible for transport, storage, and blending for respective commodities across Upstream, Midstream and Downstream.
  • Tasks include transportation nominations, system balancing and optimization, blending, documentation, credit, risk and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day scheduling and operations for trading teams, including activities such as blending, quality control, loss prevention and forecasting analysis
  • Partner with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third parties
  • Monitor terminal operations to optimize schedules
  • Engage with internal and external industry experts and maintain strong relationships and lines of communication
  • Collaborate on and communicate operational costs, optimization initiatives and best practice learnings
  • Maintains blending schedules.
  • Performs blending analysis using blending software.

Requirements

  • Experience in energy, manufacturing, transportation, supply chain and/or finance
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data to draw valid conclusions, identify root causes and solve problems
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, ability to communicate at various levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated influencing skills, the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse team
  • On-call availability for evening, weekends, and holidays if scheduling emergencies will be required.

Nice to have

  • Fuel oil/bunker operations scheduling experience in a trading environment.
  • Marine scheduling experience
  • Bachelor's degree
