About the role

  • Facility Upkeep and Cleanliness Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure facilities remain neat and clean.
  • LaHaye Ice Center Operations Provide excellent customer service by assisting the public with skate rentals.
  • Monitor safety by ensuring patrons do not enter restricted or unsafe areas while wearing skates.

Responsibilities

  • Support for All Athletic and Special Events for Club Sports
  • Maintain public spaces, including lobbies, concourses, and restrooms.
  • Sharpen rental skates to maintain quality standards.
  • Support various Club Sports teams (e.g., lacrosse, hockey, volleyball, wrestling, triathlon) as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member, embracing and promoting Liberty University's mission.
  • Provide support as directed by designated supervisor.

Requirements

  • If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one's personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel.
  • Proof of a valid driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee's position.
