About the role
- The Field Service Technician (NETA 4) is a project supervising technician responsible for performing complex investigations, tests, measurements, and evaluations.
- The role involves recommending corrective actions, interacting with engineers and managers, and testing for de-energized locked out/tagged out equipment.
- Monitors project progress and assigned NETA field technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical tests and measurements.
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
- Perform troubleshooting of electrical systems and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, pull, push, sit, and work in a cramped or confined space.
- Must have a satisfactory background/MVR check.
- Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Additional responsibilities and tasks as required to support the organization's goals and adapt to evolving business needs.
Nice to have
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year technical college preferred.
- NETA certification level 4 preferred.
- 10+ years of experience.
- OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

- Interpersonal and social skills; strong customer service skills.
