Responsibilities

  • Develop and own RF products across PCB, box, and integration levels
  • Own trades and analyses on new designs and question requirements
  • Bring up, troubleshoot, and qualify new designs
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to enable large-scale manufacture of products
  • End-to-end PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout, fabrication and assembly
  • Experience building complex PCBs in Altium Designer

  • You will work with a small team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to shepherd the product from initial design to vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to building robust space communications systems.
  • Knowledge of antenna design, simulation, and measurement in near-field/far-field regimes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing circuitry in RF bands across frontend and conversion chains
  • Experience with electronic design and analysis tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and Altium Designer
  • Experience with test instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, VNAs, spectrum analyzers)
  • Experience with low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, phased locked loops, oscillators, and filters
  • Experience selecting components for radiation-susceptible environments
  • Experience working with AD9361, Xilinx RFSoC, and similar digital-analog conversion interfaces
  • Experience performing communications link modeling and solid understanding of DSP fundamentals
  • Experience working with high-PAPR signals and knowledge of DPD concepts
