About the role
- The Department of Psychology, in the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences at the National University, invites applications for part-time faculty in Psychology.
- The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of or potential for excellence in teaching in their field and a commitment to serving the university's diverse adult student body.

Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
- Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
- Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
Requirements
- Research-based, scholarly, peer-reviewed journal article publications, required.
- Experience as a member of a dissertation committee, preferably as the chair/advisor required.
- Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.)
- Experience with the online delivery of education and the systems that support it, required.
- All skills, abilities and education will be considered for minimum qualifications.

- Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. Nice to have
- Doctoral degree with a focus in Psychology or related field required, PhD preferred.
- Graduate level qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or statistics teaching experience preferred.
- Content expertise in one or more of the following areas preferred, but not required: trauma, substance use/addictions, the use and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Compensation
- Hourly: $26.63 - $28.89
