About the role

  • The Vice President, Wealth Management is a strategic and operational leader responsible for leading and growing Everwise Credit Union's Wealth Management function.
  • The incumbent provides oversight leadership for all investment advisory, brokerage, trust, and financial planning services.
  • This role reports to the Chief Banking Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Wealth Management strategy aligning functional objectives with Everwise corporate strategy and long-term growth plan.
  • Develop budgets and accountable for Wealth Management revenue optimization, expense management, margin expansion, and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Establish and implement enterprise-level operational frameworks that are efficient, scalable, and provide quality service to our members.
  • Build and lead strategic partnerships with third-party advisors, broker/dealers, technology platforms, and community organizations.
  • Champion the design and delivery of a holistic, relationship-based financial planning experience that differentiates Everwise in the marketplace.
  • Identify and implement strategies to elevate advisor productivity, deepen member relationships, and expand advisory capabilities.
  • Oversee experience-driven service models that support high net-worth, mass affluent and emerging wealth members.
  • Monitor economic conditions and provide strategic guidance to optimize performance and mitigate organizational risk.
  • Build highly effective and well-informed advising teams.
  • Maintain leadership responsibility for regulatory readiness and adherence to regulatory requirements (FINRA, SEC, NCUA).

Requirements

  • 10+ years progressive leadership experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or financial services.
  • 8+ years leadership experience with proven experience leading teams.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in a wealth management or investment services environment.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 (or equivalent) required
  • CFP® designation strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with a broker/dealer preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to align business strategy with operational execution.
  • Strong business acumen with deep knowledge of investment, fiduciary and advisory practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex strategies to diverse audiences.
  • High integrity and commitment to member-centric service.
