About the role
- Technicians service clients' rotating machinery (screw & reciprocating compressors, electric motors, and associated valving/ instrumentation.
- They are supported by a combination of manufacturers, in-house technical resources, and an inventory of parts and specialized tools.
- Start-up of UECompression inc. supplied machinery.
Responsibilities
- Support customer as directed, ensuring reliable and safe operation of equipment.
- Perform repairs on other types of industrial equipment upon request.
- Perform all work with a total commitment to safety and quality.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience maintaining/servicing rotating machinery or heavy equipment.
- Owns required tools (basic tool set)
- Travel is required.
- Must be able to stand for periods of time.
- Must be able to walk distances.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to step, squat, bend or stoop.

- High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Has and can maintain an acceptable driving record.
Nice to have
- Experience servicing compressors is preferred.
Skills
- Can read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work under minimal supervision and direction.
- Safety focused and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Adaptable, committed, and accountable.
