- Position Overview The Supervisor, Analytical Laboratory reports to the Analytical Manager and oversees both operation and staff associated with high complexity laboratory operations in a specified area of the department.
- This position assists leadership by defining clear and realistic goals, clearing barriers to success, and understanding of skills and tasks associated with successful execution.

- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations; ensure that successful, effective, efficient, and safe laboratory practices are adhered to.
- Develop day to day schedules, assign personnel to complete scheduled tasks and reprioritize due to changing business needs.
- Develop and monitor quality control benchmarks within processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Review, update and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and support other area needs dependent on demand.
- Lead or assist with validation of new high complexity methodologies and/or incorporating new technologies into the department workflow.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects within defined timelines and prioritize when necessary.
- Manage laboratory budgets, ensuring expenditures and resource allocation across projects for general supplies and equipment aligns with approved budgets.
Requirements
- 4+ years of high complexity testing experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies including ISO, OSHA, CAP, CLIA, and state regulatory bodies.
- 1+ years of experience leading or directing people and/or project teams.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of molecular diagnostics experience with in-depth knowledge of quality control, instrumentation, and software used in area of focus.
- Possession of active ASCP certification in QLS, MLS, MLT, or MB.

- The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Marshfield on a full-time basis.
