Requirements

  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Candidates must have working knowledge of basic computer and internet skills to access appropriate electronic reference resources (manuals and drawings).
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • High school diploma or GED required and three to five years aircraft maintenance and inspection experience with corporate/private aircrafts
  • Candidate is required to hold a basic Airframe & Powerplant License.

  • Candidate must supply his or her own tools to perform job responsibilities however the company will provide "special" or "unique" tools not considered "ordinary".
  • EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Complete ongoing education regarding aircraft inspection, maintenance and general upkeep to ensure utilization of the current Federal requirements.

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand, use hands and arms to reach. The employee will regularly be required to lift and/or move up to 50 - 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, color, distance, depth perception and peripheral as well as ability to adjust focus
