Responsibilities
- Provides leadership within the maintenance organization and leads the organization's engineers, supervisors and technicians.
- Based on significant technical and managerial expertise, creates a strategy and structure to improve asset availability for the department.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance in the Mixing Complex.
- Generate and implement continuous improvement activities to the Mixing area and process.
- Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities which include using a ladder and safety harness to climb into mixing tanks in order to clean the inside of the vessel.
- Navigate the computerized Production Operating Management System (POMS) to access, manage and document batch information throughout the entire mixing process.
- Obtain samples & perform scheduled quality checks.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics.
Requirements
- Occasionally specialized physicals are required when working with certain drug codes.
- High School Diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years of age.
- Normal visual acuity and the ability to distinguish color are necessary.
Nice to have
- One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver Level preferred.
Compensation
- To that end, this position has a pay rate of $44,000.00 annually.
