About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Commercial Underwriter to join our dynamic Underwriting department.
- In this role, you will evaluate and assess the risks of commercial insurance applications, ensuring our clients are provided with fair and accurate coverage options.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior underwriters, brokers, and agents to ensure clear communication and efficient processing of applications.
- Prepare and present underwriting reports and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of client accounts and underwriting activities.
- Assist in developing customized insurance solutions tailored to meet individual client needs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with underwriting software or tools.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
