Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain low-latency, real-time back-end applications that support critical equities and options market infrastructure.
- Own the full software development lifecycle - from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Partner with product managers and cross-functional teams globally to translate business needs into reliable, high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to design discussions, upholding engineering standards and best practices.
- Document software functionality and support ongoing maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a back-end software engineer, with strong proficiency in Java and Springboot.
- Solid experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a dynamic, production environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kotlin or other JVM-based languages.
- Background in cloud infrastructure or container-based deployment environments.
- Prior exposure to financial markets, fintech, or regulated technology environments.

Compensation
- The base pay range for this role is $104,000 - $148,000.
