About the role
- Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $105k-$120k annually (depending on experience) Work Location: Onsite.
Responsibilities
- Saalex is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Administrator in Ridgecrest, CA to support the design, implementation, security, and sustainment of enterprise network and computing environments.
- The selected candidate will serve as a technical lead for network infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, systems administration, and modernization initiatives supporting mission-critical operations.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and computer systems.
- Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions.
- Experience supporting WAN, BAN, and LAN environments.
- Experience administering routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless network technologies.
- Experience with system hardening, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, patching, firmware updates, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and enterprise infrastructure sustainment.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within a team environment.
Skills
- CCNA certification or equivalent experience demonstrating expertise in routing, switching, and network security.
- Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government environments.
- Experience implementing DISA cybersecurity controls and supporting compliance activities.
- Experience supporting Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization or network engineering projects.
Compensation
- Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $105k-$120k annually (depending on experience) Work Location: Onsite.
