About the role

  • The Inventory Control & Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular inventory counts, organizing warehouse stock, managing inventory transactions, and supporting warehouse operations through effective planning and data management.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts. • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. • Maintain accurate inventory records within the company ERP system. • Monitor inventory movements including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments. • Ensure inventory transactions are entered accurately and promptly. • Generate inventory reports and identify trends or concerns. • Develop and maintain organized warehouse storage systems. • Ensure products are properly labeled and stored. • Optimize warehouse layout to improve efficiency and accessibility. • Enter inventory information accurately into ERP and inventory management systems. • Create and maintain inventory tracking spreadsheets and reports. • Coordinate receiving, stocking, and inventory allocation activities. • Support annual inventory audits and internal inventory reviews. • Train warehouse personnel on inventory procedures and best practices.
  • Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role. • Strong inventory counting and reconciliation experience. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong data entry accuracy and computer skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required. • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is considered an asset. • Forklift certification is an asset.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is considered an asset.
